Complete Property Care performed exterior window trim replacement at the Beacon Condominium in Brookline, Massachusetts.
This project is the third phase of a four year phased project to replace existing window on the entire five story building.
The scope involved replacing forty (40) window trim assemblies to replicate the original architectural design. No window systems were altered as part of this project. The work was limited strictly to exterior wood trim replacement.
Project Details and Process
Work was performed on the parking-side elevation of the building. Existing deteriorated trim elements were carefully removed and replaced using Sapele mahogany to match the original material profile.
Following installation, all new trim assemblies were painted black to maintain consistency with the existing façade finish.
Results of the Project
By performing in-kind wood trim replacement using Sapele mahogany and matching the existing black finish, the project maintained the architectural consistency of the elevation while addressing aging trim components.
